Valentines day Outfit ideas

While everyone is posting the valentine's day outfit or lookook  I did not get inspired from anyone because either the outfit was a flowy gown and it was claimed to be suitable for a date night, An LBD which would be suitable for a night party.

Being introduced to "minimalism"  recently, I did not want to buy any dress coz I am not sure when will we get time to celebrate valentine's day. It would be too cheesy to say that we don't have time. But the fact is that during weekdays me and Mr loves spending time with each other rather than dressing up and going out.

We did celebrate our valentine's day like how it has to be celebrated in the past. But now as responsibilities grew , spending time with each other without any argument is the most valuable gift we could gift each other.❤❤❤

Okay enough of my rantings.. Lets see the 4 looks I created by adding simple things to a casual outfit ( A black t shirt and a blue jeans)

1. Add a colorful belt to the monotone dress.

Here I am wearing a multi colourd belt which we bought from a local shop in Hampi.

2. Wear a red jacket and change the outfit

This totally changes the outfit and gives a dressed up look with minimum efforts.

2. A red stole.

If you are in Chennai you must be thinking that wearing a stole is inappropriate in this weather. But this year Feb has got chill nights. So if you are going for a dinner with your partner, a red stole will be classic.

3. A color pop - red chain

To add some color pop to the monotone outfit, a multi threaded red bead necklace is again classic to go out for a day date with your partner.

About the makeup I opted for a subtle makeup this year to highlight the color pop in the outfit.

The earrings are from TheTrinketShop  (as usual 😇😇)

That's the end of the post and hope you get inspired by my ideas which are super easy to make your boring outfit in to Valentines day special outfit.
