Chia seed - coffee Smoothie



So finally I am ready to share the detailed recepie and pictures of my Chia seed - coffee smoothie.


As I had already mentioned in my instagram posts that "I HATE COFFEE". I don't know why.. but i hate it. But adding a small quantity of coffee powder gives this smoothie some taste. so I decided to continue having this once in a week for breakfast, as this gives so much energy and helps me going till lunch.

Here is the recepie for this healthy non fruit smoothie,


INGREDIENTS                      

150ml of almond milk
1 spoon of coffee Powder
2 tbsp of chia seeds
1/2 spoon of Stevia powder (I used this)

DIRECTIONS

1.Soak the chia seeds in water for 15 minutes. The chia seeds will turn in to a jelly texture.


2.Add almond milk,coffee powder,Stevia in a blender and blend them well.



3.In a Jar or Mug, add the chia seeds (I added 1/3 part of mug), then pour in the blended coffee.


4.If you like it cold you can add some ice cubes as well. I like to drink this in room temperature.
Now top the drink with some almond silvers. Whola... The chia seed - coffee smoothie is ready.
